Celebrating Our Opening in a Grand Way!

THANK YOU for the wonderful welcome you have shown Barrel & Baskit these last few days!

It has been very special to meet our neighbors, see old friends, and to start to learn more about your needs and wants. We are learning more each day about how to better serve you - our clientele and community, and continue to add products and items daily. It is SO fun to have you stop in to see what new items have arrived as we get set up and stocked up in our brand new (and big!) space.

We have started brewing delicious coffee and cranking out signature breakfast sandwiches daily. We are stocking local Blakeney's scones, pretzels, and breads. And lunch service (Monday-Friday) starts up TODAY. The steak tips and lemon-pepper chicken are getting rave reviews, and take-and-bake lasagne and eggplant parmesan from Angela's Pasta and Cheese Shop are stocked in the freezer.

SO... there is lots to celebrate this Friday from 3pm to 6pm! Dennis from Concord Craft Brewing will be pouring his new summer brew for you to taste along with other favorites like Safe Space. Tastes of wonderful new summer wines will be offered by Ambra of Crush Distributors. Try even more beer from our Vacationland Distributors including Sip of Sunshine. And we'll have snacks to sample too. We will have information about our meal kits and our membership program (more info below), and will unveil our July event schedule!

Our Grand Opening will be a great way to welcome summer together! We can't wait to see you!

OTHER NOTES: We are working hard to add more convenient grocery items each day. Next week the kitchen will be open from 6:30am-1:30pm for sandwiches Monday-Friday. Of course our Baskit meals will be produced again local veggies from farms will come next week too. It will still take us a few more weeks to get everything stocked in the store, to judge the right volumes of various products (things might sell out), and to really get our legs under us but we are SO committed to this community!

5) Will you carry gluten free items? Yes - we will be reaching out to vendors and will start adding items as soon as we can. 4) Will you have online ordering and a website? In time we will have both. Right now you can get updates on Instagram but we love the old fashioned, meet-in-person, interactions the best, so stop by and see us Friday! 3) Will you be getting more groceries? More local vegetables? Yes, we are stocking up as quickly as soon as our accounts are set up with vendors and the harvests begin with farm partners such as Two Mountain Farm in Andover and Work Song Farm in Hopkinton. 2) When can I get something from the kitchen? Coffee and breakfast sandwiches have begun and we are adding a few menu sandwiches starting TODAY! Chef Jeff is in the kitchen during the week, with lunch service Mondays through Fridays; weekends will be breakfast sandwiches, coffee and LOTS of baked goods. 1) Will you carry Brother's Donuts? Yes! We called in our first order today for Friday arrival! Just in time for the weekend!
